3 bedrooms up, 2 bedrooms down, 5 fabulous looks
We repeated many of the decorative elements throughout the bedrooms to give the home a consistent and cohesive flow.  Increasing the scale of the window and door casings and the baseboards added impact and character.  All the decorative trim and interior doors were painted Benjamin Moore CC-270 Baffin Island.  We selected a black finish for the drapery rods, door and cabinet hardware as well as the light fixtures.  All the carpet on the main floor was replaced with wide plank hardwood.

This bedroom we named the Bogart Room, inspired by the flashy wall paper on the feature wall behind the bed.  The wall paper is from the Eco Chick book at Crown Wallpaper and the walls and ceiling are painted to match using Benjamin Moore CC-606 Beach Glass.  We had the window coverings custom made with blackout lining and selected the fabric from Joanne Fabrics.

This is our Enchanted Forest room inspired by the wallpaper, also found in the Eco Chic book at Crown Wallpaper.  We painted the walls and ceiling in this room Benjamin Moore CC-250 Seaspray Papyrus, The window coverings were custom made with blackout lining and the fabric was from Joanne Fabrics.

We selected a blue, green and yellow colour palette to achieve this gender neutral kids room.  The wallpaper is from the Eco Chic book at Crown Wallpaper and gives the room a fun and whimsical atmosphere.  The walls are painted Benjamin Moore 2147-40 Dill Pickle and the ceiling is painted in Benjamin Moore CC-250 Seaspray Papyrus.  The window coverings are custom, lined with a blackout liner, and the fabrics for the drapes are from Joanne Fabrics.

The feature wall in this room was painted Benjamin Moore CC-270 Baffin Island to match the trim and door colour.  The walls and ceiling were painted Benjamin Moore CC-250 Seaspray Papyrus.  Due to an unfortunate flood, during the renovation, the carpet in the basement had to be replaced.  We choose to go with an inexpensive mildew resistant carpet.  It was installed to be easily removed should the property flood again in the future.

In this bedroom we added architectural trim to the ledge.  The ledge and the walls below were painted Benjamin Moore CC-270 Baffin Island.  The walls above the ledge and the ceiling were painted Benjamin Moore CC-250 Seaspray Papyrus.  The window coverings were replaced with purchased curtain panels.  We had the curtain panels hemmed to fit the window and drapery weights sewn in to ensure they would hang properly.  Stay tuned for future blogs detailing the furniture and accessory items.  Many of which we found at second hand stores and refinished.
